Sausage Stand (Vienna: Stephansdom)

By in Vienna

After an early morning 4 hours train ride we arrived at Vienna. Imagine our dismay at leaving behind a charming quaint little fairytale town to a huge “familiar” metro city with an insanely overcrowded city central. The Stephansdom was surrounded by Spring break festivals, radio station stage, sausage stands and massive tourist + shopping crowds.

After being harassed by nonstop crappy costumed “Mozarts” selling us seats to the touristy Classical music concert (‘the Vienna experience”~), we’re hungry and tired. We picked the least crowded stand at the plaza’s cooler corner.

Hot and Juicy! But I think I like the Prague one more.

Melty thick liquid inside the sausage, fat? cheese? ^^;;

    Those ‘Mozarts’ are everywhere in town bugging tourists to sign up for the concerts, even right in front of the famous National Opera House. I mean, you don’t see fake Napoleon or Marie Antoniette all over Paris to harass you to see whatever shows is on. ^^;;

    they probably don’t wanna waste the costumes and wigs
    from the Mozart 100th festival a few years ago…-o-;;
