Took a wrong turn and wasted lots of stamina walking nowhere around Marina. Finally we winded up on nice Union Street and stomped into the first ‘nice’ cafe we saw. JACKPOT! This French pastry place is incredibly good. We had the Strawberry mousse and vanilla custard cake, there’re iced strawberries inside. The mousse was so light and fresh, so good…so good…arrr why is LA so lack of good French pastries? Vero got the Strawberry mousse cake with ladyfinger and Grace had the chocolate pie. All delicious.

What??? Lady’s finger in cakes??? Or it is just the finger-shaped pastry??

    The mousse cake looks good!

I think it’s the finger-shaped pastry…^^;;;; It seems like their signature dessert or somthing, because that lady’s finger cake is also their logo (in illustrated form).

i really appreciate the many fine photos in your blog! also, not to criticize, but i think this patisserie near Union and Fillmore is technically in the neighborhood called Cow Hollow, just southeast of the Marina neighborhood.

    keep up the great work!
