Finally tried this new dim sum restaurant~ The interior is very ‘designed’ ^^;; Their banquet dinner cost up to $1,800! O_O I ordered my usual must-haves to compare the quality. They’re good but generally too light for my taste.

The Shrimp Rice Crepe‘s skin is so incredibly thin and won’t easily fell apart. Very good!

The Shrimp dumplings were underwhelm (thick skin, bland). The Custard Buns are different from usual, they mixed seseme paste in hence it has a sandy texture and very heavy.

There’re quail eggs underneath the fried tofu. The yellow dumplings on leaves are these szechawn desserts with sticky rice (mochi), with seeds, coconut and orange peel inside. multi-flavored and strong aroma, very nice! As for my favorite dim sum dish, pan-fried radish cake…is disappointing…little flavor and not much radish taste. 🙁

The fried tofu with quail eggs sounds tempting! Never had that yellow dumpling before…it is szechuen sweet? I wonder what the chinese name is~.
Yeah it has a fancy name~ it doesn’t have the word ‘szechuen’ either, it is some name that’s an old name (or some city) in szechuen province or somthing. I looked at the menu checklist and check the most exotic names ^^;;
