Merry Christmas~~!
While Joan went up North for vacation, I went Southbound to Mexico’s Ensenada for my company’s Christmas vacation. We stayed at the resort Punta Morro. We basically eat drink eat drink eat drink nonstop. ^^;; The first lunch party once we arrived was held at the restaurant at the resort.
The restaurant (and the resort) locates on rocks facing the ocean, beautiful waves but oh the freezing wind. More than 30 of us sat down at around 3 and it went on for more than 5 hours…it was eventually a lunch+dinner party.
Appertizers
Steamed Clams with very delicious white wine sauce but the Fresh Oysters was alright.
My entree: Grilled Quail with Sauteed Garlic Mushrooms and Sun dried Chili Beer Sauce. VERY good!
However, I ended up envied others’ order: Grilled Flank Steak, so tender and juicy~
Some of the desserts, including Mocha Creme Brulee, Vanilla Icecream with Raspberry sauce, Coconut Bread Pudding…etc. Nothing special.
We consume LOTS of wine. While most of us went to town immediately after to bar hop, some people stayed in this restaurant and drink wine till midnight.
Wow your company trip is luxurious!
Seems much better than your last one with all the Mexican food? ^^;;;
Nah last time at Puerto Vallerta was much better…PV was just so much prettier, so much more things to do and the tropical warm weather was just too nice. The weather at Ensenada was basically same as LA (freezing) and we’re surrounded by ugly desert. The town has nothing either. I rather want pretty old town/cultural sight-seeing/nature activities than fancy dinners ^^;;
