Ruen Pair (Thai Town)

My favorite place at Thai Town was closed down for rennovation for 3 months, and it’s finally re-opened!

Slightly bigger now. The Crab Cake with Plum sauce is so so, I can only taste/see the pork meat. ^^;;

Combination Salad, this so-called salad is a guilty indulgence of all these appertizers with very particularly strong taste and aroma and combine them together: Salted eggs (made from chicken so not as nicely texture as duck eggs), Thousand year eggs, Chinese sausage, onion and salty cabbage plus chilli lime sauce.

A soup noodle I forgot name which has silky smooth Pig’s Blood, Fried Tofu, cow intestines and other parts. I wasn’t crazy about the roll up thick rice noodle, too mushy. Their pig’s blood are good, I’m going to order that next time (or any dish using it as star item).

    A Thai place but has stuff like thousand year egg, chinese sausage and pig’s blood? Very interesting~~

    I never thought a salad with salted egg and thousand year egg possible, but that looks really good.

    Yeah, a lot of the Thai restaurants here are really kinda Thai-Chinese. ^^;;
