Like us, one of our Art Directors Grant is a huge designer toys/figures fan who also collects Kubrick/Be@arbrick figures. Except he went a huge step ahead that normal fans won't go: he somehow convinced our boss to pay for creating a Kubrick signature model for our company. Kubricks are these cute little collective play-thing among Japanese/Asian hipsters youth, how on earth did he convinced a Hollywood guy to take them seriously? Perhaps he somehow convince boss-P how they could be benefit our company's promotional purpose? I seriously think the sole agenda was merely for Grant to fulfill his fannish dream of designing his own Kubrick. Our human resource is Japanese who made all the arrangement with Medicom. It cost $10,000+ to produce. Medicom will limited release 100 of them in Japan, IF will get 2,000 of them. I can foresee those design/trendy/Japanese toy collector magazines feature it, and Kubrick collectors will pay big bucks just to include this one in their collections. I can't wait to get one on my hand for FREE!!! ^0^ Grant thinks the black box is too dark (designed by the Medicom people in Japan), so he changed the box to white with the white part being white varnish.

Be@arbrick series 8 is out, need to get it (on eBay, because Ninygoushi is sold out)!!! Also absolutely need to get the Muppet Kubrick (Kermit, Miss Peggy and Fozzie ONLY) and I'm growing fond of the latest Kelloggs 3. I bought the whole set of Blythe Series 2 on eBay for $38 two weeks ago, pretty good deal.
