Freemasonry Conspiracy TheorySiteseeingThis morning Bill was telling us these fun Freemasonry conspiracy theories. Regardless there's any truth in them, they certainly made great stories :D First of all here's my understanding of what are the Masonry (correct me if I'm wrong): they are a secret society descend and derived from a sect of ancient Egyptian Priests worshipping the Sun. They held secret knowledge which they carefully conceal, and they are said to be controling the world and religion behind the curtain. There are famous history mysteries link with Freemasonry, from Napoleon's affliation (read more on Isis=Paris) to the most unsolved murder mystery of Jack the Ripper. I've seen a few Masonic temples, such as the one right across from Mission 261 restaurant, and the one nearby where Stan lives in Glendale (the same one nearby where Tomoko used to live). There's also one in Pasadena and I've seen myself several men in strange black robe walking at night (one time while driving on Green). None of us ever see anyone going in or out of them. But I think these Masonic temples are probably the low-order kind (you can join if you're male, over 21 and go through some "test" whatever they are). Members are functioned hierarchy order, the ones at the top are the few elite speicals: the 33rd order. They are the highest order contain their own secrets within and the most powerful ones said to be controling the world behind curtain. One of our Artcenter teachers (Roland) is said to be a Freemasonry member, he silently admits it and told us he seldom attend the 'meetings' because he hates meetings. Look at the US One dollar bill graphics BTW the upcoming Jerry Bruckheimer movie National Treasure (Joan read the script before as she was pitching its trailer, that was Joan's first job in IF) is an action flick about the founding fathers of United State of America and their Freemasonry affliations. Like in the movie they said the actual piece of 'Declaration of Independence' has hidden key to Masonic secrets and treasures...blah blah...^^;;; The logo design has the "all seeing eye" pyramid too. 9+11=20. no i haven't read that one yet. but i heard good review on that. all these book are along the same line. the divici code is a bit more focus on the story vs. holy blood, holy grail are more on the research of this topic. but too much of these books might be boring especailly they are all exploring the same topic. as for me, i just want to find a true history of the religion that i can feel comfortable with. tina | October 5, 2004 09:49 AMdid you read Angels and Demons by Davinci Code author? Is it good too? Freda | October 3, 2004 06:37 PMreally interesting stuff! but i am stil a little confused about the freemason. cuz the Davinci Code mensioned something similar and the group was called something else (i read the book about a year ago. . . apes dia? or something like that) i am wondering if they are the same group but with different name. but i highly recommand the divinci code if you are interested in this kind of stuff. i always feel that jesus is more than how the bible portraited him. and the story of Jesus and Magdala is also very interesting to me. after i read the divinci code, my faith of the church was truly shakened (consider that fact that i always had question the christian church and the believe of christianity). anyways, i also recommand the Holy Blood, Holy Grail. but after you read the divici code cuz if might be a bit confuse for people who is not familiar with the christian background. tina | October 2, 2004 02:26 AMWhat about the infamous 'blueprint for the domination of the world by a secret brotherhood': THE PROTOCOLS OF THE LEARNED ELDERS OF ZION? Forgery? True? (if they claim it's a forgery, then what's the real one about?) There's the The "Greater Isarel" Dream map, mapping Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc. the area where conflict never stop...just makes you wonder if there's some ongoing "dream project"... conspiracy...conspiracy... (note the giant Basilisk snake, the divine serpent in Judaism, is shown as boundary of the "land".) Freda | October 1, 2004 11:50 AMHoly Blood, Holy Grail (same author) but the first half was really technical stuff on masons and crusades and I got bored and never got to the good part and had to return it to the library. I'll probably go back to read the part about Jesus and Magdala. Oooh Jesus and Magdala, Holy Blood, Holy Grail, that's the book cited in Davinci Code right? I've yet to read Davinci Code, been wanted to, it's so popular, maybe it has a more entertaining read for the info than Holy Blood, Holdy Grail. they'd making it into a movie. Recently I heard IF's gonna do the teaser, but I've heard Ralf mentioned long ago Iginition was working on Davinci Code movie's teaser, so who got the job really? Freda | October 1, 2004 09:26 AMHey Tomoko read some books on Free masons before. Let me c&p her comment on them from her email (hope she won't mind ^^;;): the book I read on free masons was Key to the Sacred Pattern : The Untold Story of Rennes-le-Chateau by Henry Lincoln (Author). it was really cool, how the author finds this secret code behind Pousin's painting of Arcadia. The painting was supposedly fictitious, but there's an actual place in France where you can still see even today, the EXACT landscape that Poussin painted, and it holds the key to the treasure that the free masons hid (which, I guess, is the holy lineage?) I gotta check those books out sometimes. And didn't Roland said Matrix 2 was very freemasonary-ish? ^^;;; Joan | October 1, 2004 09:01 AMI know, such a fascinating and scary idea that there's this secret society masterminding the world order. I think it's straightly western thing. For instance even though it traced back to ancient Egypt, it's Napoleon who formed the Freemason sect in Egypt. I search a bit that there's some lodges (=the masonic temple) in HK, but they're from the English/Irish branches. There're some sect allow woman only, or both man and woman. But most (and the higher order) are all males, like fraternity. Their motto is: "The Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man." Like there's rumors most American presidents are Freemasons, how they're mere puppets for the 33rd order. In order to join, doens't matter what religion, you have to believe in a "god" as in there's an all-mighty deity. They believed in "illumination" (=the Sun, the Light), religion is only a name as they're universally the same. Which is the All-Seeing-Eye (haha not Sauron, but it was used in ancient Egypt to represent their god Osiris). Freemasons are said to performed pagan rituals and sacrifices, thus speculations on that they worshipped Lucifer (which you know, means "light bearer"). another interesting site about Freemasonry and Ancient Egypt, explaining the symbols on all the Freemason temples. Freda | October 1, 2004 08:53 AMHmmm, so women can't join this order? It sounds both scary and fascinating, I notice Asians don't seem to be mentioned in any of the above stories.
