Cafe Milan (Playa del Rey)
  Locate across the street. i spotted some umbrellas and the word "cafe" and dash right over. It's a nice Italian cafe that served Illy coffee. There's a personal feeling to it that I really like, such as one wall is full of someone's photographs in frames (seems to be owner or owner's friend, very amaetuer). The other wall that I didn't capture are a huge collages of photographs of family and friends. A panel on top across are photos of actors/singers/stars with their signature on it (all B-class or lower ^^;;).
  Minestrone and Italian Omlette $6.50 There are prosciutto, dried tomato, eggplant, zuchini & mozzarella in it. Surprisingly very GOOD and DELICIOUS!!! *o* I'm so happy~ The grilled potatoes are so yummy. I think it's the dried tomatoes that did the magic for the omlette.

$6.50 for the omelette? Very cheap considering so much ingredient in it. The owner probably lives there? Must feel like eating in someone's home. So this is the first good hit near your new work place? Keep looking!
