Yeah that seem like heavy duty when you were HK, once you're back in Japan you seem to have more asian so far than french/italian..haha~ I'll start my salad/soup cleansing diet for couple weeks ^^;; I've been craving Thai (real ones from Thai town), Vietnamese or simple wonton and Japanese ramen for lunch recently, too much sandwich and western food~ Freda | February 9, 2005 07:54 AMOh I know which one, there's one Cuban restaurant next to Nucleus. Freda | February 9, 2005 07:48 AMHa yeah I need a digital camera too. Eileen, what's the name of that cuban restaurant at Alhambra? There are many great Cuban restaurants in LA, I reviewed some of them before. Check out my old entries on Xiomara and Atlantic Cafe in Old town Pasadena, also Prado from Larchmont. Also Cha Cha Cha from Silverlake is very good as well. Joan | February 9, 2005 03:43 AMAhahaha~~~~poor Joan! ^^;;;; Take turn to use the camera lor, or better even, buy a new digital camera ma, I am sure it will come in useful - both of you might need it at the same time in the future~~~(it was a shame that Joan didn't have a camera when she came to Japan for intern!) I too will feel ill if I have French/Italian everyday, so I make a rule for myself, must alternate between Western and Eastern(Asian, Japanese etc)food, so my diet can be a bit more balanced. I have been going to organic cafe once in a while...just to be healthy and be on a diet temporarily. ^^;;; seat | February 8, 2005 09:57 PMThere's this Cuban restaurant on Main Street (Alhambra). It's pretty good. You should try it! ^^ Eileen | February 8, 2005 05:46 PMI always taste a bite of other people's dishes ^^;; yeah I have the camera with me so the "Food: West LA" section is building up fast ^^;;; So sometimes Joan will go out for lunch over at Hollywood but didn't get to take pictures of them...pity... so she's discourage to go out to eat (or just eat crappy food not worth pictures). BUT the downside: I'm getting fatter and fatter~~ I'm feeling yeet-hey and unhealthy, while Joan is losing weight and feeling more healthy than I ^^;;; Especially after this cuban meal I finally feel sick (too heavy) that I decide to tone down my lunch consumption from now on. Freda | February 8, 2005 03:47 PMWow, the chicken does look amazing!! (*o*) seat | February 8, 2005 11:18 AM
