I guess we are used to Japanese food so Yaki udon is nothing special to us, maybe it is a super exotic delicacy for white people. Yeah if the entree price is no cheaper during lunch time then definitely should try it at night. But then again, I always feel that a good restaurant should have the sincerity to do its best to impress its customers even during lunch time at a cheaper price, otherwise just don't open for lunch lor. Reviews, rating etc are just not very trust-worthy. Like a restaurant could start off very good, and many good reviews/high ratings follow, but as the crowd flocks there and the quality would eventually drop...seems like maintaining the quality after getting famous is a difficult thing to do....

Oh I got a list of the want-to-watch movies that are enough for now. Sure, will try the Spanish ones too.

I forgot if you watched "Talk to Her" (by Pedro Almodóvar), I seem to remember you said you did. That was awesome too. As you see, we were having a Spanish film DVDs month or something (coincident ^^;;)

Oh I need to finish writing reviews of some films I've seen recently that you might be interested too. If I don't get to, you can checked out these two spanish films: "Tesis" (Thesis) and "Abre los ojos" (open your eyes, aka the origianl version of Tom Cruise's Vanilla Sky I hope you haven't spoiled by this Hollywood downgrade version yet). Both are great captivating entertaining thrillers/mystery.

Yeah I could have order their entree for lunch too, but they're a bit too luxurious and too much food for everyday work lunch ^^;; ($15+) Though they don't seem that exotic either, it's somethin like "Steak in wasabi mayonnaise sauce", or fish. Well I'll reserve judgement until I give the entree a chance. Really the overrated-ness is still...like there was this couple (white) next to us, as they sat down, they eagerly said to the waiters (who's handing them the menu) at once, "we know what we want! Yaki-Udon!!!" as if it's their favorite dish that will come back for again and again ^^;;;;;;

Hmm...maybe it is just the choice you made are too simple food? I mean how shockingly good can they make yaki udon? It is just simple food intrinsically. ^^;;; Maybe you should order something more exotic - or no exotic choices in the lunch menu? Maybe dinner menu is a totally different scenario. The dessert certainly looks good - simple but nice decoration included.
