Manpuku Tokyo BBQ (Sawtelle)

Food 12: Sawtelle

DSC03261.jpgDSC03263.jpgVery busy these days and surviving on quick 'eat-while-workikng' meal like bread and yogurt for both lunch and dinner :( We stole a night to BBQ grilled at Manpuku where I had lunch before. Plum wine soda. The assorted veggie for grilled are very good, they're sweeted and tasty with sauce.

DSC03266.jpgDSC03270.jpgThe BBQ grill is quite scary. The gaps are so huge that the meat can slide through vertical so easily. Marinated Rosu beef. Love it, so juicy and wonderful. Though the marinated sauce (sour) kept falling through the gaps as we turn them over...causing huge flame to fly up. o_O;;;

DSC03271.jpgDSC03280.jpgThe salted Harami I like this more, just keep it basic, simple salted meat. YUM! :D

DSC03275.jpgDSC03276.jpgThe seafood pancake is so-so.

btw I re-organized the food categories archives to categorize them more correctly. The "Beach Area" was building up and so now I have seperate archives for each beach. :D

Comments:

The ones I drank look like this. There were only 3 flavors: Vanilla, strawberry and coffee, and yeah they're all gross anyway. ^^;;

My god those nightmare drink! Poor seat! I had to suffer those Ensure for 3 weeks when I was recovering from the wisdom teeth surgery (too swollen and painful to eat), I developed phobia for them since then (also for that dense smell/taste of milk). They are toooooo thick and milky.

Ha one piece of meat nearly fall thru, but I saved it jusst in time~ ^^;;;

Oh....I am surviving on coffee-flavoured "Ensure liquid"(such weird name) that my doctor gave....it is a torture to see all these juicy meat~~~~

The design of the grill is bad - did any meat slide through the gap??
