Blair's (Silver Lake)

Favorite Food Entries + Food 05: Silver Lake

DSC03685.jpgDSC03673.jpgMy friends always recommended me Blair's and finally tried it. The downside: it is mostly a romantic place filled with dating couples -__-;;; Other than that, I love the food. We shared the Risotto with apples and wild mushroom, $12. It's simply the best risotto I've ever had. I almost regret for splitting it but then even if it's half portion, the quantity is so much so heavy that I was totally stuff.

DSC03682.jpgDSC03671.jpgAppertizer Rock shrimp and eggs $10 rather normal. The thinly sliced tiny bread is surprisingly yummy, I couldn't stop eating them. This place is normally packed, we were there early (we halfassly make reservation like 5 minutes before we got there ^^:;;). The desserts were all $9 each, so we gave up.

We had early dinner and I didn't expect the risotto to be this good ;_; I felt guilty for sharing one entree so we thought maybe getting an appertizer (turns out it's as expensive as entree -__-;;). But I do noticed my stomach seems to tolerate smaller amount now, I get full so easily.

Freda, my impression I got in my LA trip is that you can eat quite a lot?? So you actually eat very little?? I would definitely have the risotto all myself and skip the appetizer cos the appetizer is like $10!!!
