IF softball game + Pie n' Burger catering

Gotta post this old entry. The annual IF softball game got Pie n' Burger catering!! We tried their turkey burger there before (see Old Entry). The catering served cheese burger and gosh it tasted sooooo good! They definitely deserve the "best burger in LA" title. They also served fries, salad, fruit and dessert (pies). Their pies are suppose to be very good too, I tried the lemon one and it's....good, not THAT spectacular though! Perhaps other flavor is better?

It was a hot hot day. -__-;; Good thing I borrowed a cap and wore tons of sun screen. But still I can feel the sun damage ^^;; The company was divided into 3 teams. Just like last year I'm in Peter (Boss no.1)'s team. And we won AGAIN! ^O^ It was sooo tiring though, we had to play 2 games (since it's 3 teams), it's kinda unfair since we're already exhausted from the 1st game and then had to play against the 2nd team which was fresh up. But hey we still manage to win! Probably becoz there are some very strong players in our teams (see my team's happy faces when we won). I did contribute some small effort...^^;; There are two t-shirt this year (red and yellow), the theme is "good vs evil" ^^;; I wore the yellow (good) becoz it's cuter.

Hey Tomoko, I'm sending you the IF kubrick~~

Everyone has to go hit the ball, I suck so bad but still manage to kinda knock the ball on the floor ^^;;;...also there's a way to "cheat", if the pitcher throw 3 bad balls and you didn't swing at all, you can automatically go on the first base. I did that few times haha.

when it's our turn to play defense (the other team hit), I'm on the outter field (most useless ppl are assign to these position). So mostly I'm just standing there getting baked by the sun while all the actions took place surrounding the bases.

Yeah IF Kubrick is out~~

We played the softball game last year too when I was at IF. HAHA sure we all have to hit ball and catch. We manage to hit the ball all the time, you know the game is meant to be just pure fun so the pitcher throw balls that are easy to hit. Our chicken swing actually made the ball we hit harder to catch, because it just bounced awkwardly in low position on the ground and the other team went in a chaos and bump into each other trying to follow the roll-away balls . (while home run balls are actually easier to catch for some guys in the team ^^;;). I dunno about this time, but last time, Joan scored the final winning point that won the game for the team!!! (as she ran too fast she fell down on the ground arms and legs all scratch up, but she heroically got up and keep on running to homebase~~ XD)

Joan you mean you actually played???? Like in the field catching and hitting the ball, not just cheering??? ^^;;;; What position were you(not that I know the names...)??
