The Buttery (Toronto: Niagara-on-the-Lake)

Food 19: Travel + Travel

DSC03960.jpgDSC03958.jpgDinner at The Buttery Restaurant, were attracted by the outdoor patio and the menu :D Their menu is mostly simple French cusine. Escagot $12, yum!!! Drink: Lemon Drop and Cider.

DSC03961.jpgDSC03964.jpg French Onion Gratin Soup (quite good~) and Scallop.

DSC03962.jpgDSC03963.jpgRoast Duckling and Lamb. A lot of meat but very juicy, the sauce a bit too light for my taste though. I'm already very grateful after the disasterous dinners from previous nights.

DSC03955.jpgThe place is very old and historic (it survived way back from the 1812 war with Americans!) On certain nights, they have King Henry VIII theater, where they acted out a Tudor court Medival Feast. Sounds fun~~
