Akbar Cuisine of India (Marina del Rey)

Food 14: Marina del Rey

DSC04448.jpgDSC04446.jpgLured here by the recommendation of a very delicious Okra dish, turns out that was for dinner only. Nonetheless the lunch specials are awesome too! There are two other chains in Santa Monica and La Brea, but this one at Marina del Rey is said to be the best. The menu are foreigner friendly with each item rated with their "Chili Meter" from 1 to 5. The Mango Lassi is one of the best I've had!!!

DSC04449.jpgDSC04451.jpgDSC04453.jpgthe Samosa is really good. The valued lunch specials are Lamb (very tender and delicious~) and Cauliflower and Potatoes.

Comments:

I know, it reminded me of China Town or those cheat-gwai-lo type of Chinese restaurant ^^||| The lunch set was about $7.

The rightmost pic is cauliflower and potato only veggie dish? Looks really good though. How valued is the lunch set? The interior looks almost chinese.
