Landmark The Coit Tower (a close-up) is a mediterrean style white tower on top of Telegraph Hill, built in the 30s. It has a 360 degree observation view of the city up at the top. The view up the hill ain't that great...so we didn't go all the way up as there's a long line. We took bus. When we leave we found a short cut walk down the hill, where tired and panting tourists walking uphill toward us ^^;; It took us straight to the North Beach neighborhood: The Little Italy, a romantic historical area with lots of cafe and restaurant. The gothic Sts. Peter and Paul Church at the Washington Square Park has the address number of 666. There're lots of events and peace rally at the park.

Little Italy is awesome, love the bohemian and artistic vibe~~

DSC05105.jpgDSC05106.jpgThe City lights Bookstore is a very cool indie bookstore, also a historical landmark of the Beat movement (even have a cross street name Jack Kerouac). However I couldn't find books I was looking for (maybe I looked at the wrong section).
