Oh haha maybe I'd become a natto follower someday, the way you eat them sound like could be good! :DD Freda | September 12, 2005 10:04 AMit's hard to get fresh natto in the US, so hence the gasoline smell!? tomoko | September 11, 2005 09:24 AMI think Japanese eat natto with just soya sauce, and maybe seaweed with rice. But apparently you can put that into miso soup, and even fried rice so that it is easier to eat....that's why my friends told me but I haven't tried yet. Oh Yakult?? It is good but nothing really that exotic I think? You must have something similar in the US?? seat | September 11, 2005 02:32 AMI coudln't stand Natto -__-;;; too weird tasting! it's almost like solid gasoline.^^;;; I know Tomoko loves it. Joan | September 10, 2005 02:14 PMyeah I tried before and thought it taste weird, do you eat it with something stronger taste or some alcohol? The taste doesn't quite make sense to me ^^;; That guy...just regular size American...and he went on and on about his "staying in Tokyo". He also bought rows of thsoe Yokult drink (the tiny red cap skin color kind we drank at kindergarden), passing them around his clueless white friends (plus one Asian girl). Freda | September 10, 2005 05:27 AMWas he very thin?? Have you tried Natto before?? seat | September 9, 2005 06:37 PM
