Food 01: San Gabriel

DSC05542.jpgHad to grab a quick dinner before meeting up with friends so we tried to go back to the unforgettably yummy and cheap Jin Jian for their Crab Meat Soup Dumplings. Unfortunately it was packed with their typical long waiting queue , so we refugeed next door to this Northern Chinese restaurant instead (also a long-timer). We shared the Braised Beef Noodle (the beef not tender enough but the broth was very good, the pickles that go along with it makes it extra good), pot Sticker (very greasy, we had to dap it with napkin first ^^;; Very tasty though) and Soup Dumpling (basic type, it's good but Jin Jian's Crab ones are still better). Overall good and very value, $14 for two people!
