Dusty's (Silver Lake)

Food 05: Silver Lake

Tina is getting married this weekend so last Friday a group of us went out for her bacholerette party. Freda got the duck which is very good. The meat is so tender. There's sweeten kumquat on the side for extra flavor. Delicious!

I got themussel and fries (who came up with such combination?), the white wine broth is heavenly! The mussels are tiny though, well at least there were a lot of them. Scallop with spinach, very good too!

The Cream puff desert is hard and so-so. They gave us free shots (lemon drop?) since we have a glowing bride-to-be!

DSC06849.jpgThe tamale mexican food signs are probably vintage signs they collect, it has nothing to do with their menu. ^^;;; There's also chicken, ahi tuna salad and pasta...but the pix turns out not so good..^^;; Also, originally we were supposed to have dinner at Cafe Stella, but the waiter there was incredibly rude and refused to give us a bigger table. So we changed course and went to Dusty's down the block instead. Last time I wasn't so impressed with their dinner (though that might due to certain unpleasant person) but I enjoyed their lunch.

The food is so big portion and very mouth-watering! Not a big fan of scallps but that look yummy.
