Back to this Japanese pub and tried to order different things. Seems like a lot of things taste rather similar, especially fried food.

Very good Ume sauce beef tataki.

The Fried chicken wings are their signature dish...hmm...oily but quite tasty. Enoki mushroom with fish, very good.

Miso Oyster, sweet! Duck.

Fried fish and Agedashi tofu (now I know what it is ^^;;).

I guess there're only oh-so-few Asian hung out places on the west side that I bump into a few Artcenter alumni (trying to remember their names, def. awkward moment...)

Grace, Christie and almost all Taiwanese students were in that club too (and they have gatherings and parties)...we were half-Taiwanese but I guess isn't qualify enough ^^;;
I feel the same way, in collage people were so deseperate to feel belong to sorority or clubs...but I always find them more troulesome (fitting in is always a big hassle for an aloof person like me).

sounds much more exciting than Japanese club!

actually they invited me to join the Japanese club many times, but I was too shy to join.^^; figured I wouldn't fit in :p

Unbelievable!!! I guess they spend a fortune for PR stuffs to get more $$$. I think we had a reunion last year here too. There was also this secret Taiwanese club I never heard about until I graduated...^^;;;

it was more of a fundraiser, I think?
A bunch of PR people from Art Center came and the party was held at a very expensive Japanese hotel and they passed out free pens, pins, books, memo pads, free food...now I know where all our tuition went! （`□‘）/

oh also I only found out about the gathering cuz the prez of Bravis told me and invited me to come along....otherwise I would have had no idea about the gathering!^^;

I had the impression there weren't too many Japanese students either. but now I found out all the Japanese belonged to a Japanese students club and hung out together (^^;;) I didn't belong to the club, so I don't know any Japanese Art Center grads! haha

Oh wow there's a Tokyo reunion? I didn't remember too many Japanese students at AC...though are some Americans who worked in Japan?

yeah its so hard to remember names.
when I went to the artcenter alumnig gathering last month in tokyo, there was a girl I had one class with, and she recognized me. but I was so embarrased cuz I had completely forgotten who she was! ^_^:
