Soy Luck Club (NYC: West Village)

Food 20: NYC

After dinner, on our kind-of-long way walk back to the train station, the freezing temperature and tired feet brought us to this trendy soy-based cafe Soy Luck Club. We got a Soy steamed milk with Ginger and honey. It's very very good! All the food on their menu are soy-based, the crepe sound pretty good. Wanna go back and try them.

Comments:

yeah try to be cheeky and clever with the name ^^;;; NY is said to have a very cut-throat and happening restaurant scene so that's why the quality are usually good. Like Japan I guess. There'd be restaurant opening and closing all the time, and the opening of a decent restaurnt would be a 'event.' The turn over is just so frequent too because the business is so intense here. This NY guide I got from the Japanese magazine was from dec.2004, and many of the restaurants on the guide were gone already~~

It seems you hardly ever bump into bad-tasting food in NY! Either that or you have a good hunch about taste of food :-P

I'm restricting my coffee/tea intake as well cuz I can't take caffeine as I used to!
my recommendation is persimmon tea....
although these days I just buy it (recall I used to pick leaves at your place ^o^)
