Rice to Riches (NYC: Nolita)

Food 20: NYC

DSC08342.jpgFound this amazing designy place that sells only rice pudding: Rice to Riches. There're many flavors, we had the Endangered Maple with Sun Dried Blueberries and Man-Made Mascarpone with Cherries, very yummy! You can taste a little sample before making decision. There're LDC wall screens with motion graphics, and the plastic bowl with covers (in case you can't finish it)...so elaborate. Though most of the stool tables don't have stools, a very pity minus for our tortured legs. I love this area Nolita (= North of Little Italy), it's full of cozy little cafe and bistro and boutique of up-and-coming designers.

Comments:

Since I've been to the East side it has become my favaorite place! :D There's a little Tokyo there too, but I was warned not to eat sushi here because LA's are supposedly better!? ^^;;;

Hey, sounds like you've found a really really nice area to hang out in! I mind very little about health in the face of yummy desserts, am probably the FATTEST vegetarian out there as a result :-D
