I must be out of the Artcenter circle for so long! Here in office a designer sent me this and asked if this guy's for real: Roland is God. YES it is for real!!! Some student sneak in a camera and made a secret documentary about our (in)famous teacher. But I think these are already tone down version, as he mellow a bit in recent years...

but he was definitely my favorite teacher! He's probably the only teacher that I really felt eager to get up in the morning to go to class for.

why aren't there more guys like roland around!? ... haha :D

Yeah he's famous in school, voted best Teacher all the time. He's very funny and entertaining to listen to, as long as you're not the target of his harsh comments.

Tomoko definitely watch it, it's so dejavu~
All graphic designs and advertising students are required to take his class at 1st term. I think he was deliberately being an ass to pound the big ego out of some students, sorta 'filter' the weak and medicore ones...Joan and I never get 'burnt' so it's ok. I think Tomoko is his favorite students.^^;; At first it was scary but later you get what he's doing and it just become very funny. In my term there was a girl who quited 3rd week becoz of him.

but so is the film G-rated , a bit toned down vesion of Roland?? ^o^
