Barrio Chino (NYC: LES)

Food 20: NYC

DSC08873.jpgThe title is not the name of this bar (which I forgot). It is a romantic Mexican bar full of Chinese Qing dynasty decor ^^;; My friend took me to try their Jalapeño Margarita, it was surprisingly good! Instead of salt, it is sugar on the rim. It gets quite spicy midway. Mixture of contrasting taste, sweet + salty + spicy etc...was indeed the theme of the night. ^^;;

Comments:

Yeah in LA you can't do that bar hopping because of all the driving. While in NY it's so conveninet with lots of nice bars.
Surgared margarita (with spicy jalapeno) is like a...dessert drink ^^;;; like Mexican candy...

I miss going to nice bars and having pretty cocktails~~~~
Hey you should order something more NY...Blue Manhattan or Cosmopolitan or something like that. ^^;;
