Roomba

Shopping

roomba.jpgIt's been more than 2 weeks in our new house and it's feeling dusty. Unless they're Henry, I hate most vacuums...they're like these noisy too heavy to handle monsters. So I bought a Roomba, those robot vaccum cleaner I heard so much about. I didn't do any research and didn't know about different models and got the mid-level one. It runs around and clean the house while we're away. After it's done (depending on your command: clean for 60 minutes or until the battery dies) it'd go back automatically to its homebase charger. Best of all, it fits under bed and shelves to clean those hard to reach places. When I came back from work, I found the floors...clean...so I guess it worked!?. The only concern I have now is how to clean and maintain the robot. I read that it work best in a large open room, which is what our house is like...so it's perfect.

Welcome back Seat~ You could have pay out of your own pocket for better food right?
AHHH my company is having a snowboarding trip next month...it'd be an entire month thing, with computers setup there, so basically it's not exactly a 'holiday', more like we're shifting office up on the snow mountain. As long as you get work done, you can snowboard as much as you want~ that's sounds great haha (even though I don't know how)! I haven't decide when I'd go and how long I'd stay though...

I went somewhere near the Fuji Mountain, very nice scenary though we didn't do much outdoor activities cos it was so cold and our conference schedule was tight. Yeah all the expenses were covered, but the food was really no good...couldn't be bothered to take pics of the food even.

But I wonder if this Roomba will hover around the same spots and totally miss some, haha. ^^;;

Welcome back seat! Where did you go for conference? I hope you had some good food there~~ do the school cover for all the traveling/eating/living expenses?

Yeah Roomba is very ideal, especially for lazy people like us! Tokyo apartments in general are probably too small and crammed for it though.

Hey hey, I was away for a conference for a week and I thought there would be internet connection and brought my laptop and wire and everything, well they did have internet but it was wireless and I didn't have a wireless card!! ^^;;; I felt so exhausted after coming back that I slept for 18 hours straight!

Oh I saw this kind of robot vacuum cleaner on TV! You actually bought it?!! ^^;;;;; I thought it was some futuristic visionary kinda advanced product purely for show only...^^;;;

There were problems with my ipod AFTER I updated the newest version too - the screen just stays on the "rating" page and doesn't go back to the "now playing" page no matter how many times I press....but I guess if you update the next version, the bugs will be fixed...hopefully no more bugs will appear!

The previous entry was close, about Ipod: I have problem mounting my ipod to the Itune. After I resesarch on internet a bit I found that it's a common problem for everyone who download the latest update on Ipod + Itune...there must be a bug. argh~~~~

I used shuffle at first but got frustrated as they kept repeating some songs while I never heard some. Then my library grew so huge that ti's impossible ^^;; So I only shuffle among individual playlists itself.
