Kanpai (Marina del Rey)

Food 14: Marina del Rey

More workday lunch indulgence~ ^^;;
DSC09102.jpgDSC09099.jpg
DSC09101.jpgToro and Oyster shoot. The fattiness of Tuna...so good yet so scary (is there such thing as Tuna's fat being good fat? or is this just my justification?). Add a $4 mini tuna bowl to fill stomach. Turns out it's quite big~~ ^^;;

Also I found that there're "Otis roll" and "LMU roll" on the sushi menu (they're names of the two colleges nearby). In the Zagat survey they framed on the wall, apparently it saids that this is a popular spot for the college students, especially for the LCD monitors inside (turn to the sport bars at night?) ^^;;;

Comments:

Yeah oyster shoot, and the toro sashimi...we sat on sushi bar and other people kept ordering and ordering more, and we just split the bill even at the end, $$$ (while some people only order very little but was the sushi chef didn't break down the bill with each item).

Hi Jonah, this sushi place is at Marina del Rey, near Otis artschool and Loyola Marymount University.

The oyster is in the shooter glass, and the toro is served separately??
