On our way up to Mammoth, we passed by Bishop Town and the much hyped beef jerky place. It smell so smokey, beefy and satisfying :D The favorite is 'Indian' flavor, the least sauce most original beef taste one. I bought the Honey and Spicy and I couldn't stop eating them. (perfect to 'pop' my ear as we go up the altitude).

THE ENTIRE MAMMOTH THING IS LIKE...WOW THIS IS KINDA MIDDLE AMERICA (WHILE LOS ANGELES IS NOT...^^;;;), WE DROVE THRU ALL THESE SCARY MIDDLE OF NO WHERE DESERT (ALREADY LUCKY TO SEE SIGNS OF LIFE LIKE COWS, BARNS AND RANGES) AND THE FOOD UP AT THE RESORT AREA ARE JUST SO BLAND AMERICAN. THE PEOPLE ARE PREDOMINATEDLY WHITE, RADIO STATIONS ARE ALL COUNTRY...I'M SO USED TO THE MULTI-CULTURALNESS (OR MEXICANESS) OF LA.
