For a few days the house was so buried by the snow banks that I didn't know how it actually looks like...^^;;

Every morning the cars were snowed in. The snow plowing truck woule plow your drive way only if you moved your car. On the first day we didn't know we couldn't park the car along the curb and almost got a big fat ticket. The snow plowing truck plowed a tall snow wall behind our cars as 'punishment' ^^;;; One of the scariest moment gotta be the last day when we almost couldn't get out because the car was stuck deep in the snow. We yelled for help from two Chileans who walked by and they helped us push in the condition that we'd take them to work afterward (because they were running late). The blizzard and slippery slope just...turn us off to drive to the town downhill for lunch and we were forced to scrap whatever's left in the kitchen (ie: hotdog burrito ^^;;) As the snow turn to ice as temperature dropped, even with snow chains on, our car still ran out of control and kept sliding, one time we slammed right to the snow banks and broke the head light. I used to have romantic notion of snow are beautitful, but after a week of shoveling snow and harsh weather condition...I just can't wait to get out ^^;;

But the most wonderful thing? The scenary changes everyday~ On a bright, clear, blue sky sunshine day (only one day in the entire week), I'm willing to walk everywhere, even downhill to the town~~
