I was at the door of this Argentina Pastries place yesterday and found that they don't open on Mondays. :( That made me craved empanadas even more~

The walls are adorned with tango photos and Argentinian soccer spirit.

So many stuffings to choose from! I chose Arabe, with lemon and beef. So flavored so juicy~ The pastries are golden and crusty, and most importantly, not that oily!

Ricotta cheese one is my favorite, so creamy so tasty! Criolla (beef and raisin) is very good too. They all taste distinctly different. So satisfied, but obviously can't eat that everyday (doesn't seem healthy for you ^^;;). My colleagues both got the Spicy beef that they can't stop raving about, I gotta try that next time.

After meal, I got these really good caramel cookies. They have thick creamy caramel (not too sweet) covered with coconut, sandwich between shortbread cookies (light and puffy). A bit of research and I found that they were called Alfajores. *O* I can come back here everyday.

Yeah! Would be nice to have the album cover pics as links to music stores, where maybe you can sample listen. Also films or videos you have seen recenly would be nice to put up, perhaps with ratings, especially those you don't have time or they don't worth the time to write long proper reviews. ^^;; I want to set up too~~when I have more time to actually read - have not been reading at all. ^^;;

Seat, that person with the awesome vintage looking dress is our producer haha. She went to Tokyo for one of our jobs and bought bunch of cool clothes. (the dress she brought at NY though). The Library thing is quite addictive, you should setup one too. You can catalog the books with whatever catagories you type in, I didn't know I actually have more 'Sci-Fi" than I though. ^^;;; And you can link to other people's catalog and found similar readings and get recommendation. I'd love to do the same catalog for my CD too. I haven't found a service yet...I do notice sometimes people have these 'recommend' CD list on the side and use Amazon's picture and links...I wonder how to do that (without manually type in yourself ^^;;)

Hey seat, yeah, they're so 'fried' hence I can't eat too much. Haha the three I chose sound most 'exotic' right? We have similar preference ^^;; (ie: never order fish in French...etc).

I found that there're two other places with same name at LA but I don't they're from the same owner.

My camera is an old Sony DSC-V1, it is particularly good with micro shot and low-light once you're familiar with it.

Just as I had suspected(^^;;), empanadas have more varieties than was offered in the place I went here! The crust looks so different too! Yours are more fried and the ones I had are more baked?

If I were to choose 3 from the menu, I would have chosen exactly the same ones you ordered. ^^;; The dessert looks so good~~!!
