Food 13: Culver City

DSC00311.jpgHibiscus Juice, and Lengua (cow tongue) and Cabeza (cow cheek) Tacos, the Lengua is so tender and silky~ the homemade corn tortilla is very good too. Big, tasty and cheap ($1.75 each). Tacomiendo, a wonderful Mom n' Pops Mexican place, wow!!! I want to try everything.

The tacos are crepe like...I didn't know either ^^;; I think the distinction is taco is made from corn, tortilla is made from flour? (i might be terribly wrong here). The tongue and cheeks are probably considered exotic meat, and 'leftover' parts here...^^;;

The tacos are crispy right? Sometimes the soft crepe-like ones are also called Tacos, while the crispy ones are called Tortillas...so confusing. 1.75 is so cheap! The fillings sound luxurious!
