Bhan Kanom Thai (Thai Town)Food 04: Los FelizRight next door to Red Corner Asia is this Thai sweets heaven. I forgot to take photo of the amazing wall-packed full of Thai candies and goodies interior. There're many Southeast asian delights like dried aloe candy, Durian chips, etc. Other than package candies and fruits, they offer freshly made housemade sweets such as: There're more, I can't wait to try them all. Those red peppers/fruits/tomato candy looked like miniature fake food, so tempting looking! I think they're good as side compliment to dessert. some people probably would like the 'healthy' taste of yellow bean paste...^^;; White Sugar Cake is "bak tong Go", you can get them in dim-sum sometimes. They're weird tasting...and I think they were becoming extinct. It was a popular cantonese sweets back in the days but even when I was a child in 80s it were already becoming rare and my dad would be soooo happy whenever he found them (which of course never taste as good as they used to).
