Ajisen Ramen (Temple City)

Food 01: San Gabriel

More ramen chain entry, this time it's Ajisen Ramen's newer branch at Temple City.

Spicy Pork Ramen, oily and salty, tasty but trashy tasting. ^^;; This Dynamite thingy is cheese, mayo with mushroom and scallop.

Unagi Fried Rice, pretty tasty~ and Fried Tofu.
DSC01832.jpgI felt my taste bud a bit numbed afterward. I think this chain is okay if I want quick ramen fix, but whenever I drove to San Gabriel Valley area I would rather go for Chinese food. Plus I wouldn't want my craving for ramen spoiled...

Comments:

The photos does look like so msg-ridden huh ^^:;;

The Unagi fried rice must be a Chinese's franchise's own invention ^^;;; I can tell how someone who never had with really good ramen soup might found Ajisen's so tasty and elaborate menu attractive.

味千, right?
I used to crave it a lot when I was in HK, before I knew the real thing. Really, try not to spoil your tastebud. ^^;;;
They do have many interesting side orders though...I like that Unagi fried rice too, there is no such thing in Japan, or I have never seen it before, it is either one piece of Unagi on rice, or Unagi steamed together with rice.
