La Provence Patisserie (Beverly Hills)

Food 09: Beverly Hills

This lovely bakery at Beverly Hills is also a 'shop', selling pretty home goods.

Chicken Sausage Panini: perfectly grilled, light and fine quality sausages, yum! And the slightly too sour Tomato Soup. This is supposedly a half & half, but the soup is like a full big bowl, I had to take half home.

Macaron, the real reason why I come here for. I only got half of their flavors: Vanilla, Orange, Pumpkin Spice, Pistachio, Rose, Lavender. Freshly baked, so good!!!

They also have breakfast all day, plenty of other breads and cakes, all looked tempting...oh I wish this were my neighborhood bakery!

Comments:

Mmm... macarons, simply delicious (and being so airy - not as guilt-inducing as some of the denser cookies & bars, unless you buy and eat a dozen!)

Great post!

Actually most restaurants in Japan don't allow any kind of leftover food to be taken away because of hygiene. Anyway, the portion in Japan is so small...won't be any leftover most of the time...^^;;

I gotta try their brunch!

Seat: Why wouldn't they let you take soup home in Japan? Because it's not 'solid food' enough to be taken out..? ^^;;

La Provence is my secret brunch place on the weekend because you don't have to wait to be seated.
