Angelino Heights Carroll Ave

Collection

DSCN8586DSCN8583DSCN8587DSCN8580Angelino Heights is a historic landmark neighbourhood located between Echo Park and China town. It's a surprise to find such a beautiful neighbourhood among the usual ghetto-ish Echo Park. There are lots of amazing victorian houses, especially on Carroll Avenue. The area looks more like San Francisco then LA. Some houses are well presesrved while some are very run down. The horse pole is for tying horse carriages.

DSCN8597DSCN8601There's an open house for The Phillips Residence and of course we have to check it out. It was built in 1887 and was a designated Cultural Historic Monument. The Victorian style interior are amazing and well preserved. I felt like travelling back in time inside the house. The house is selling for $2+ million, ouch~~
