Ike Sushi (Hollywood)

Favorite Food Entries + Food 08: Hollywood

Last time we got an omakase (chef's choice) for four people at Ike Sushi, we tried again for two people, we have wonderful surprises.

This is simply the best Uni I've ever had. There were a generous amount (so full), the uni color has an orange reddish tone (compare to the usual pale yellow). It's incredibly rich and creamy. He also cut a crane out of the leaf...so pretty~

Everything is great. Though I suspect the oysters were ordered by the couple sitting next to us, they were mistakenly given to us (the waitresses panicked when they realized that). ^^;;; The toro was really good too.

We also ordered the Grill Octopus again, it's just way too good, a MUST in Ike. Including tips, it was $60 per person.

Yeah I went with Joan. Before this I went with her one more time, and I guess us being 'twins' were quite memorable...haha...

probably not free...added in our final cost...^^;; Yeah it's crab sushi, very good~ I dunno if it's true that if you knew the sushi chef you'd get fresher and better stuffs. This time convinced me of that...though we didn't really social with him. It's because Joan came here many times before that he recognized us...
