Santouka (West LA)Food 11: West LAHoliday's over, time to clear some old entries first. ^^;; Freda | January 7, 2007 08:27 PM
To the rude nameless person: I see that you bother to come back and comment on my blog without signing your name *again*, so I'd take time to respond you just this once. If you would have read carefully and not having such narrowed appreciation with such 'black and white' values when it comes food, last time I said their noodle isn't as chewy as I'd like, meaning I prefer noodle with a stronger "koshi", it's MY preference. I grew up prefering noodle with stronger texture over softer in general. But I like Santouka's fine. That's far from "I don't like their noodle" accusation you've made. Remember, noodle is only part of a bowl of ramen, there's also the soup and pork in round up the whole picture. What's with this extreme dichotomy of "either like or dislike" view of yours. Freda | January 11, 2007 09:25 AMi thought you didn't like their noodles. what are you doing back there again? | January 11, 2007 09:12 AMYeah the Santouka(hey not Sentouka ^^;;) in Japan is the usual serve over the counter type~ seat | January 11, 2007 12:31 AMSo is the other one, they're just a booth in a cafeteria next to the Japanese market. Are the Sentouka in Japan the 'serve you over the counter' type? Freda | January 10, 2007 05:35 AMOh you tried! From the look, the pork seems the same as the one in Japan. This branch is self-service? seat | January 9, 2007 09:24 PM
