Fred 62 (Los Feliz)Food 04: Los FelizI had dinner with my friends at the 24 hours opened hipter diner Fred 62 (blogged it long time ago) for some organic comfort food! As for me, I ordered breakfast...^^;;
Check out their menu for all those fun sounding pancakes! Very satisfied! Freda | January 17, 2007 10:59 PM
Elf? Not the one that sells raw food? The movie's called Friends with money starring Jennifer Aniston, so-so. Yeah after this memorable experience I would definitely remember to stay away from "exotic" dishes in an American diner ^^;;; RP | January 26, 2007 09:25 AMRP: Oh RP...you should have know better...^^;;; NEVER order those Thai noodle, vietnamese noodle, JP udon...etc. at an American diner! They have those items there just because it's LA and hipster neighborhood. Their pancakes are the best I think. What movie was that? Have you try that veggie place Elf yet? (somewhere near Alvarado x Sunset) Journey: I took a bite of the chicken potpie off my friend's dish and it taste bland to me too. ^^;; I'm glad to hear that Chameau's service was good, it was probably a bad luck weekday night I had. I can't wait to go back~ Freda | January 25, 2007 05:03 AMHaha the last time we went to Fred 62 we ordered some rather horrid Thai noodle, would stick to its American menu next time! Saw a movie that was partly filmed in Fred 62 ^^;; RP | January 23, 2007 02:38 AMIt was strange... the "pot pie" was a bit blander that night than I remembered it. Maybe the chicken needed more salt. BTW, I went to Chameau last night (Saturday) and the service was fine. I guess it was just a bad night the time you went. Journey | January 22, 2007 05:33 AMJo, the pictures are thumbnails you can click on for enlargement to see the details. If the pictures are too big they'd take forever to load. Seat, this is actually a diner, so it's all greasy food like onion rings, fries and burgers. But the ingredient they used are organic and it's not so greasy like traditional diner's food~ (only in LA I think ^^:;) Freda | January 20, 2007 08:57 AMoh and their dinners are fun too ;) fun names and good burgers | January 19, 2007 03:07 PMThe letter is bigger! Looks Good! Make the Pictures Bigger! So this way we could really se the details in the pictures! OK. Now I sound like a true American: BIGGER IS BETTER!!!!!! Jo | January 19, 2007 10:41 AMPancake tartin looks so yummy! So much guilty-pleasure food for an organic restaurant~ seat | January 18, 2007 05:53 PM
