Canelé (Atwater Village)Food 05: Silver LakeWe went with a friend to this newly opened (re-opened?) restaurant Canele at Atwater Village. At 8 on a Friday night, it's completely full and very very crowded. Looks like a good hang out spot for the local hipsters.

haha yeah shouldn't they make canele out of those mode that'd give you that shape? This pass weekend I went to a bakery where they have canele too and it looks the same the the ones you had. Isareli couscous is good, almost like tapioca but softer (yet still chewey) and pearl size. When I put this entry up I just put "these pearl shape thingy", but as I was typing the food show I was watching on TV was talking about these couscous so that's how I find out what they are...^^;;; Freda | February 6, 2007 12:14 PMOh you rememeber well!!! ^^;;; Though the shape of Canelé doesn't look right, it looks homemade. The fat butter noodles is tempting(a sucker for this kind of noodles~)! Is it also egg noodles?
