Auntie Em's Kitchen (Eagle rock)Food 03: Eagle Rock
Btw I heard from my friend that the owner used to be in a punk band called...Red Aunts (he's a fan and overheard the owner yelling for an order and recognize immediately). That explains the red walls, the 'auntie'...:D Joan | March 29, 2007 08:25 AM
Hi Anne, I would say about 8? (if 10 is a really good pan fried foie gras or something). The tart is very delicious indeed. The combination of Gruyère, bell peppers and shitake are what make it worthwhile. I think it's definitely worthy, You should post pictures of it on your blog! Joan | April 4, 2007 01:01 PMI'd like to ask- on a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate that tart? I have several recipes for it and am always lured by it's beauty, but it just seems like so...much....stuff! I'd like to try making it but, after all that effort, almost need a guarentee that it will be worth it. What do you think? Anne | April 4, 2007 04:30 AMThanks Wakako!
