You really went for dim-sum! Maybe you didn’t order the right food, but then a really good (and insanely popular) place should make everything good…
I once heard the saying that all the best Dim sum chefs in HK immigrant to Vancouver (or Australia, San Francisco) already, so…^^;; may be that’s why.
My friend(who is kinda gourmet) said this tea place is very famous and has been around for decades – the oldest HK style teahouse – and the menu/cooking-style remains unchanged, so even though there are many more modern/better-quality dim-sum places around, many people still prefer this one.
