Soup is made from sanma(saury) and soy sauce. Served lukewarm. Noodles are a bit too soft. Egg and chashu are quite good.

  1. This is quite a popular place – tried going there twice already but there was always a long queue waiting outside in the crazy heat! So this time I went at like 11.30am on a weekday and finally got in without waiting. The noodles comes in cold clam soup, and you dip the noodles to the chicken soup, which is cold and thick. I think they are nice but not so fantastic that it should get so hyped. The noodles are soggy…and much smaller portion and more expensive than a regular ramen. And when I was halfway….there it was, an insect with round body and wings on the noodles….err….I told the staff and she offered to change for me, but I didn’t want to eat anymore of that so I left. But the main cook came chasing after me outside the shop and kept apologising and gave me a refund – which was nice.

  2. Oh because I only had half the noodles and was still very hungry, so went for a second lunch in kokoro. ^^;;;;;
