牛鍋定食、９８０円。食券を買うような定食屋だが、店内はキレイなので、女の子１人でも入りやすくて、定食も美味しい。

Brown rice(genmai) porridge, 450yen. A few days after I came back to Japan, I fell terribly sick – stomach ache so bad that I couldn’t eat anything solid. And my porridge-only days started….

It’s ticket order type? and you’re saying the environemnt is female friendly also?
Yeah, like ramen shop where you choose the menu and buy the ticket from a machine. But the shop is new and clean and spacious(more privacy), unlike most 定食屋 that are not very uncomfortable for single girl to eat in. In fact the previous entry 美松 has absolutely wonderful food but it is so small and crowded – I actually went there last week but the madam told me to share a tiny table with a ojisan…I apologised and came back out of the shop and ate somewhere else. ^^;; The second time I went late so I got to eat alone…for the first half of my meal, while the second half I had to share the table with someone…Just eating is still bearable, but you know I am taking pictures and all, it is really really embarassing when you share a table with someone…^^;;;
I remember the first time we went to Japan we didn’t know better (and very under budget) so we eat at those ticket place all the time. It’s very bad but super cheap one..^^;; so this place’s food looks very gourmet in comparison!
ah it’s embarrassing to share table with someone when you’re alone…you can’t really look up, just have to stare at your food…
Considering sharing table is very common in HK, I still can’t get used to it! ^^;
Haha, when you guys first came to Japan, food was not the main purpose anyway. ^^;;
