The 500yen included the pork rillette and the baguette...it is like a table charge? ^^;; There is no service charge and in Japan there is no tips...so oh well, acceptable. Hard sell is fine to me up to a certain point, but err I have this juvenile rebelliant nature despite of my age you see. ^^;;

Wait they just suddenly give you guys the ink baquette which you didn't order and then charge 500 yen? is that allowed? ^^;;;
The pasta looks great! I think it's a good idea to share different pasta because I always get bored with eating the whole plate of the same pasta (like I would want some white sauce type, a tomato sauce one...). The Arrabbiata is interesting, perhaps the chef is very proud of it so he made the waitor to hard sell it?

Yeah, wasn't entirely comfortable with writing in Japanese anyway...^^;;
Rather than the baguette, the squid ink bread tasted more inky...
Thing is, I did a quick search on this restaurant before I went, and apparently all the people who went there, were forcefully recommended with that salad+dip(which we didn't order) and the Arrabbiata(which we yielded), and the comments were like "nice but normal", so I was determined NOT to order that in the first place. ^^;; But the Arrabbiata tasted better than "normal" so oh well.

I like that now in English, the entries are more personal and there's always mood and funny stories that goes with the food.
Squid ink baguette! WOW! Taste any squid ink? The pasta all look very small but that's probably a lot of carb already. ^^;; Yeah pushy waiter is annoying, as if being told your choice sucks and what's better for you (worst if his pick turns out suck)
