肉玉いか天ソバ、９５０円。A very popular place specialised in hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, which has ingredients like cabbage and noodles added. I wanted to try this place long time ago but it doesn’t do lunch during weekdays, and dinner time has long queues apparently. Tried my lunch on a rainy and cold weekend afternoon, late around 2pm….and yup, it was quite empty! I had the most popular pork and squid and noodles one…it was very good! The first half I had it alone and the second half I added mayonnaise, cos I was afraid I would get tired of the same strong sauce taste….but it is too yummy to get tired! Though it would have been better if a few people went and shared different things~~

I have been to this place twice with my sister and hiroshima-style okonomiyaki was very good.
Master must be a fan of Hiroshima-carp(baseball team which home field is Hiroshima city), so he air the baseball games between Hiroschima-carp and other team on TV.
BTW, don’t you think the master look like 山本圭一??

Hi Ayako, both the master and the waitor were very distracted by the TV hanging above at the corner, probably broadcasting some baseball match, and the master was cranking his neck to watch it while making the okonomiyaki, haha. Oh I don’t know who 山本圭一 is so I didn’t notice…^^;;

お好み焼きも好きだけど、もんじゃも好き！！
もんじゃ焼きは食べても食べてもお腹いっぱいならないから困る！（笑）

Oh this is the perfect comfort food!
True the yaki sauce is so tasty at first but later on they usually get too strong. I afraid most is when the smell get on your fingers and you’d smell that the entire day. I had the misfortune one time where I had that sauce spilled all over my bag. The bad, my notebook, even my poor camera…had been smelling that forever…T_T the nightmare! Since then I have phobia of that smell.
Oh no….what a nightmare! ^^;;
In this place I don’t have to make myself so I don’t think I was that smelly afterwards…
