Sweet potato bread. Yuzu and cottage cheese bread.
Such a cute bakery! Like someone’s house. Once you open the door, the bell rings and the madam will come out to greet you. The bread are displayed in the genkan space so you can’t really go inside. Taste-wise very simple and neighbourhood bakery sort of feel.

  2. It looks like someone’s house with porch (maybe it IS the owner’s home too ^^;;) Oh even though you said the bread taste like ordinary neighborhood bakery but the experience of acquiring them made them so personal and intimate ^^;;.

    Yeah I think it must be the owner’s home.
    It does feel like visiting your friend. I couldn’t decide which bread to get and asked her for recommendations and she picked up some of the sweet pastries, but I told her I was on a diet and was trying to avoid pastry and she was laughing and everything…err…^^;;;;

  4. You are on a DIET? That sounds like an oxymoron…^^;;; Since when you’d cut sweets…that sounds…wrong.

    But yeah I had a diet crissis too. Since I started eating Natto with rice at night, i gained weight so fast and so out of control! It must be the rice (eating carb at night). So I cut all carb at night. I still eat natto though, like natto omelette, natto on veggie/tofu, and I finally tried natto + kimchi (so good!). I’ve been eating only miso soup at night.

  5. Freda, you know what!! I started eating proper well-balanced meals for dinner whenever I work late(instead of unhealthy junk food)…and I gained weight because of that!! Why?! ^^;;; Now I stop eating rice and meat at night too, except when I go out for dinner of course. Believe it or not, I am really cutting down on “unnecessary” bread/sweet consumption~

  6. Yeah…well balance full meal make will make you even fatter! But if you were only have a steak only, it wouldn’t be as bad I think…as long as not a combine of rice/potato/bread (carb) + meat (protein).

    One good method to diet I heard is…no matter what you eat, how big a portion, even if it’s just a tiny tart, leave 1/4 uneaten. Be very dogmatic about it, whenever a dish came, always just cut away 1/4 and put on the side and will never touch them. But I can’t help breaking that rule all the time, it’s extremely hard when it’s so yummy. It’s a crime not to finish it, seeing that 1/4 untouch left you feel so unsatisfied. ^^;;;

  7. If you can give that 1/4 to someone else, or take it home, then it is okay, but wasting it while you can actually finish it…? ^^;;
