Thick slice of fish, good-for-the-price quality sushi near Okachimachi station. Seems quite popular as it is always packed with people when other sushi shops nearby are pretty empty. The atmosphere is casual and lively inside. The chef told me many tourists visit this shop and his eyes are trained well to tell the difference between Chinese, Korean and Japanese. Well he guessed that I was Korean….^^;;;

Haha maybe because you have very good fair skin? ^^;; (korean girls mostly have flawless skin~~). What is the yellow thing with cucumber? This looks so good and value, too bad it’s not something you have can consumed in daily basis ^^;;
Yeah he said Chinese usually are darker and I look pale. I went there twice and it was only a few days in between the 2 visits. The same chef served me and he remembered me and talked to me on the second time, and even though I ordered a cheaper 1200yen set than before, it tasted better!! ^^;;;
The yellow thing is pickled radish that usually comes with rice and miso soup.
I don’t know…call me useless, I felt a bit nervous eating my sushi alone at the counter with the chef and an old couple sitting next to me kept talking to me and asking me where I am from and what I am doing etc. ^^;;;
Hey but you can get better/fresher fish someitmes by chit-chat with the sushi chef at the bar! So have to “work it” ^^;;
Haha, I guess so. I am usually okay with talking to chefs and restaurant staff, but eating alone at the counter makes me nervous. ^^;;;
