Kan-buri(winter yellowtail) mizore(cooked with grated radish) style.
Sashimi. Gobo(burdock root) soup.
Two kinds of grilled fish to choose from. Kamasu(barracuda) or Kasago(rock fish).
Boiled green vegetables. Ebi-imo(Kyoto taro) and yuba.
Have been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time and in fact I booked this place twice before, but both times I ended up having to cancel the bookings due to a change in schedule. Finally I managed to eat there and the quality didn’t disappoint at all! Every dish is so delicious and delicate-tasting. Some dishes are quite Kyoto style with Ankake(starchy sauce) and using ingredients from Kyoto. 5250yen for this 10-course meal is really amazing in value. The restaurant is small and is at the basement. The interior is kinda modern Japanese dining feel. Very convenient location as it is like just across the road from Ebisu station. Definitely want to go back again when the menu is renewed.
