Sorry for the late reply. I have been away for a few days and couldn't check the internet. All the restaurants under "Favourite" are places that I was very satisfied with. A dining experience is really personal and people have very different preferences. Also the quality of a restaurant can change over time. It is just very hard to make recommendations! But if I were to take someone for a romantic dinner, I would probably choose Chateau Restaurant Joel Robuchon in Ebisu. Hope you have a great time in Tokyo.

Freda>
The tempura place is part of the hotel, just that the entrance is sort of hidden. Yeah, 5000yen for a tempura-don...you may as well order a full course.

Hahaha trust your nose than your eyes.
Oh my those are premium priced tempura bowl...man...
So it's inside the hotel but not part of the hotel (hence not obvious to find?)

hello!

i'm a 23 y/o originally from seoul, korea, but i live in tucson, az, usa now. i have been following your blog for quite some time now, although i've found it to be a bad habit to look at it at nighttime. no matter what the situation is, my stomach starts to get hungry!

i will be leaving for a tokyo vacation in less than 48 hours, and i'll be meeting my girlfriend there. my girlfriend (who lives in seoul) and i have been in a long distance relationship and we have been happily together for 2+ years. :o)

it's so hard for me to decide for myself from the pictures and your commentary alone where to go to have a fabulous dinner together. so many places look so great that it's hard for me to pinpoint a winner.

if you can help me out in this dilemma that i'm in, which restaurants would you recommend for me to have a romantic dinner with my love. your recommendations will mean a lot to me!

thank you so!
