Sakura Anmitsu(spring menu). Ohagi.
Sakura Ohagi(spring menu) for take-out.
Okame Parfait – it is normally milk softcream but I asked to change to Matcha softcream. There is kakigori with Matcha sauce on top, red bean and some milk pudding at the bottom.
Delicious wagashi cafe on the 1st floor of Itocia right next to JR Yurakucho station. Very tiny space and always very crowded so you might have to share tables with strangers, but the sweets are delicious and reasonably priced.
Sesame seed ohagi.
I’m planning a trip to Tokyo next month so I’ve been following your blog and LOVE it. I have a similar blog in London, http://www.londonelicious.com. It would be great to meet up while I’m in Tokyo and exchange blogging stories! I would be delighted if I could treat you to lunch or dinner at one of your favorite restaurants while I’m in town.
I can’t find your e-mail address on your site, so please take a look at my site and drop me a note if you’d be interested in meeting up.
That Sakura mochi was so fine and pretty looking~ Was that a real sakura flower on top (how does it taste like?)
Yes that’s a real sakura flower. It is salt-pickled…just salty!
