As I said before I tend to stay away from chain/franchise food joints so I never tried this Japanese style cafe even though I walked past its branch in Ochanomizu many times. But one day I gave its parfait a try and…..I loved it!! ^^;;; I’ve been going back again and again in the past few months and tried many items from the sweet/food/drink menu; “Black sesame seed gateau chocolat parfait” and “Kakuni and hotspring-egg donburi”(the two pics above) are my favourite sweet and food item respectively. For the rest, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

I love the black sesame seed ice-cream the most(more than green tea ice-cream or red bean ice-cream) and the sweet red bean paste is black sesame flavour too and is very good.

There is a branch in Shinjuku and one in Jiyugaoku which are probably more convenient for visitors!

The Simmered pork belly with hotspring-egg rice bowl looks soooo good! All the dessert looks good too, so many variations!

There is guy with his girlfriend. ^^;;; The price of a parfait is like a lunch but well it’s quite big…..I always have lunch and the parfait….

When I go to Tokyo (around once a year) I always stay around Ochanomizu. So next time I will surely stop there to try the Parfait avec gateau au chocolat au macha!!! Macha c’est mon prefere!!! I speak French so it’s funny for me to see the broken french names of the dessaatoo!
